Our Story

Thread of Zion was born from a desire to create meaningful clothing for our children.

What began as a creative outlet shortly after marriage, started with sewing. I dreamed of making clothes for our future children and began learning everything I could. When I embroidered my son’s name onto a simple burp cloth, it sparked a curiosity that eventually led me into the world of embroidery.

After purchasing my first embroidery machine, I began adding small designs to dresses and shirts. A few months later, my husband asked me to make him a Bible cover, and that project opened my eyes to what embroidery was truly capable of creating. From that point on, I knew I wanted to create pieces that were not only beautiful, but meaningful.

We chose the name Thread of Zion because we wanted our brand to represent something greater than ourselves. Our goal is to create apparel that reflects heritage, identity, and purpose.

As parents, we’ve often found ourselves wishing there were more clothing options that felt special and meaningful for our children. Many of the garments our children wear have been customized by hand simply because we couldn’t find what we were looking for elsewhere. Thread of Zion was created to help fill that need.

Today, we specialize in children’s apparel while building toward a future that includes options for the entire family. Whether through embroidery or carefully selected designs, we believe clothing can be more than something we wear—it can be something that represents who we are.

Every piece is created with care, quality, and the hope that it will be loved, worn, and passed down for years to come.
